Frances Boggs Obituary

Frances M. Boggs, 86, of New Martinsville, WV died Monday, July 6, 2020 while spending time with her daughter in North Carolina.

Frances was born November 10, 1933 in Jacksonburg, WV; daughter of the late Homer Graydon and Opal (Lemasters) Parks.

She was a homemaker, a retired secretary for Wetzel County Schools, loved cross-stitching, sewing, reading and crocheting and a member of the Steelton Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Boggs and sister, Evelyn King.

Surviving are her daughter, Annette (Larry) Kennedy of Almond, NC; three grandchildren, Corey (Ashley) Tidwell, Myshae (Jason) Ashley and Zachary (Delah) Tidwell; ten great grandchildren, Caleigh, Graydon, Cassie, Sara-Katheryn, Atley, Maedyn, Dak, Kaylin, Knox and Kolbi; brother-in-law, Lloyd King of New Martinsville, WV and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Frances’ request a private burial service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Middlebourne Cemetery in Middlebourne, WV.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Frances’ name, to Steelton Church of Christ, 69 E Thistle Dr., New Martinsville, WV 26155.
