Frederick Martin Trost III

Frederick Martin Trost III, 82 of Robbinsville, NC and Maryville, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

          He was the son of the late Frederick “Fred” M.Trost Jr. and Jackie Smith Trost.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Frederick “Marty” Trost IV.

          He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Peggy Ayers Trost; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Donnie Orr of Maryville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Jan Trost of Robbinsville, NC; grandchildren Jordan (John) Hill, Hannah (Nick) Martelli, Carin Trost, Caleb Trost, Ethan Trost, and Graceson Trost.

          He was a loving and faithful husband, the best daddy, and a caring grandfather.

          Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  Reverends David Blackney and John Hill will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 till 7:00 pm on Monday at the chapel prior to the service.

          Committal Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
