Gary Marvin Cooke

Gary Marvin Cooke, 77 of Franklin, NC passed away, Sunday, June 7, 2026, at his residence.

         He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Claude and Eula Wiggins Cooke.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Jones Cooke.

         Gary was retired from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

         He is survived by his friends and family, Jerry Hice, Sam McClure, Rob Hensley, Virginia Chastain, Eddie Ortiz, and Roy Murphy.

         Graveside Services were held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Carver Cemetery.  Friends and Family officiated.

         Townson-Smith Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Cooke family.
