Glenn Cable

Glenn Cable, 87 of Robbinsville, passed away, Monday, January 13, 2025, at Graham Healthcare Center.

He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late James and Maudie Beasley Cable.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Cable and Ben Cable; sisters Mary Fisher and Novella Cable; and half-brothers, Herman, Lloyd, and Coleman.

He is survived by his wife Clara Orr Cable and daughter Misty Cable of Robbinsville, NC; grandsons, Pacey Cable, Hanley Cable and Harmon Cable; special niece, Irene Huffman; and special nephews, Johnny Cable and Carrol Fisher.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverends Kevin Crane and Daniel Stewart will officiate. Burial will follow at Powell Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm Friday at the Chapel prior to the service.
