Obituary
Grace Bailey Rice, 75 formerly of Asheville, NC went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 3rd, 2023, at Country Time Inn Assisted Living Facility in Kings Mountain.
She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Clyde and Vergie Tipton Bailey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Rice; brother Roy Bailey; and sisters, Pearl Williams and Venice Lemmons.
She is survived by her son Dale Ray Williams (Squeekie) of Kings Mountain, NC, brother Ronald Bailey of Stecoah, NC; sisters Olean Crisp of Alexis, NC, Charlene Jenkins of Morristown TN, and Nellie Odom (Tommy) of Cleveland TN; grandchildren Carmen Williams, Dalton Williams, Alex Rice, McKinsey Rice and Braydon Rice; great grandchildren Braydon Williams, Zaxton Rice, Addie Rice, along with another great grandchild due in August.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Dry Creek Baptist Church. The Reverends Coy Adams and Daniel Stewart will officiate. Burial will follow in the Jenkins Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 prior to the service.
