Hester (Phillips) Pilkington

Hester Pilkington, 82 of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Valley View Care Center in Andrews, NC.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Frank and Pricie Phillips.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Pilkington Sr., and her 2 children, Rita Jane Sherrill, and Kerry Joe Sherrill.

          She is survived by her daughter, LeeAnn Rogers of Robbinsville, NC; granddaughter, Jamie Orr of Robbinsville, NC, 3 great grandchildren, Hunter Orr, Haley Adams, Haven Orr, and 3 great great grandchildren, Ashton Adams, Rhett Adams, and Beckley Cunningham.

          Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The Reverend Wayne McGuire will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Old Mother Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm Tuesday at the Chapel prior to the service.
