Hoyt “LB” Williams, 80, of Bessemer City, passed away at his residence on May 16, 2024. He was born October 14, 1943, in Graham County, to the late Olie Williams and Dreva Williams Cable.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and grandson, Abram Connell.
LB loved to grow his vegetable garden. He was a very strong believer in being a provider for his family. He was a selfless person with a generous and giving heart. LB was a wonderful man, Husband, Dad, and Papa Hoyt. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 32 years, Anna Belle Davis Williams; children, Dale Ray Williams (Squeekie), Teresa McNeely (Kevin); Jesse Connell (Mandy); Tim Connell (Trisha); sisters, Kathleen Williams, Wilma Crisp (JC), Brenda Ledford, Evelyn Jenkins (Lloyd), Lila Williams; grandchildren, Sarah, Jessica, Amber, Michael, Carmen, Dalton, Anslee, Addison; great grandchildren, Brayden, Greyson, Stella, Laney, Aubrey, Tommy; good friends, Tim Shires and Hoyt Darby; family pet, Maggie Mae; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Saturday, May 25, 2024. LB’s Funeral Service at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Dry Creek Baptist Church, Dry Creek Rd., Robbinsville, NC 28771, with Pastor Daniel Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Hazie Brown Cemetery, Robbinsville, North Carolina.
