Irene (Williams) Farley

Irene Williams Farley, age 63 of Robbinsville, NC went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Mission Health in Asheville, NC.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Aud Williams and Bessie Crisp Williams.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rocky Clinton Burrell in 2023 and her sister, Linda Palmer.

          She is survived by her son, Westley Farley of Robbinsville, NC; father of her son, Mickey Farley; sisters, Sheila Graham (Ken), Claudine Gibson (Ricky), Loretta Marino (Jason), Kathleen Williams all of Robbinsville, NC; brother, Jimmy Williams (Ana Theresa) of Robbinsville, NC; and brother-in-law, Joe Palmer of GA.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Hunter Burrell (Alyssa) of Marble, NC, Trista Burrell of Andrews, NC; and 4 great grandchildren, Lincoln, Zayden, Hazelyn, and Clinton.

          Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  Reverend Coy Adams will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at Lower Yellow Creek Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service.
