Isaac Blake Cable gained his heavenly wings on January 23, 2025. He was born on July 18, 1946 to the late Loy and Azalea Daniels Cable.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Steve and Gene Cable, Ed Hughes; brother-in-law Wayne Cable and grandson T.J. Carver.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 plus years, Conchita Hill Cable and loving son James Randall Cable (Annette) of Robbinsville; four grandchildren, Joshua Cable, Kandra Dockery Cable, Autum Carver of Robbinsville and Kia Lail of Whittier; great grandchildren Madison, Blake, Tanner, Lexi, Riley, Brantley, Kova, Jayson, Carter and Bo; brothers Ted, Larry, and Lonnie Cable; sisters Sharron Edwards and Roma Nell Cable as well as many nieces and nephews.
Blake was extremely grateful to his helping caregivers Lonnie Cable and Deanna; his beloved mother-in-law Annie Queen and his lifetime friend and pastor Max Turpin.
Blake will be remembered for his loving smile and sense of humor. His presence brightened up any room, whether at home or in the hospital. He worked at Davey Tree until he retired in 2008.
Blake was a Christian who put God and Family first. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, January 27, 2025 in the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverend David Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:00 pm prior to the service. Committal services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in the Old Mother Cemetery.
