Iva Rowena Rattler

     Iva Rowena Rattler, age 91 of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Graham Health Care and Rehabilitation.

     She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late George and Hattie Smoker Rattler.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Rattler; sons, John Rattler, Richard Rattler; sisters, Dinah Gloyne and Lois Calonehuskie.

     She is survived by her sons and their wives, Donald and Diane Rattler of Robbinsville, NC, Allen and Amanda Rattler of Peachtree, NC; brother, Dan Rattler of Robbinsville, NC; and sister, Helen Jackson of Robbinsville, NC. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Jackie Rattler, Michael Rattler, Alaina Haney, Josh Rattler, Kamryn Rattler, Harmoney Rattler; 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

     Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the Hattie Cornsilk Cemetery. The Reverend Noah Crowe will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at the Townson-Smith Chapel prior to the graveside service.
