Jackie W. Queen

Jackie W. Queen, 78 of Candler, NC, formerly of Robbinsville, passed away, Saturday, August 30, 2025.

          He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Hubert and Lenora Stewart Queen.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Claude Queen, and his niece, Lori Lail.

          He is survived by his wife, Brenda Smith Queen;  children, Michelle Q. Evrett (Jerry) of Flowery Branch, GA, Jackie Queen Jr. (Debora) of Cleveland, GA, Michael Queen (Jessica) of Monroe, GA, Hubert Queen (Mia) of Candler, NC, and sister, Mary Burrell of Candler, NC.  He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

          Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  Reverend Daniel Stewart will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 pm Wednesday at the Chapel prior to the service.
