Jeffrey Michael Boothe

Jeffrey Michael Boothe, 44, of Leesburg, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 after a long battle with Type 1 Diabetes.

He was born in Riverdale, GA, on August 13, 1974.  Jeffrey was preceded in death by his dad, Larry T. Boothe, his paternal grandparents, Tom and Jean Boothe, and his maternal grandparents, Ray and Reba Hamilton.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon Hamilton of The Villages, FL; a son, Matthew Boothe of Jonesboro, GA; a daughter, Cailie Boothe of Ada, MA; three half-brothers, Tom Boothe of Charlotte, NC, Korey Boothe of Augusta, GA, and Christopher Courtney of Wheaton, IL; and his dear friend, Theresa Essick of Atlanta, GA.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Townson-Smith Funeral Home in Robbinsville, NC.  All family and friends are invited.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Jeffrey's memory to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA  22202, 1-800-342-2383.
