Joe Deyton Obituary

Joe Bill Deyton, 84, of Robbinsville, NC, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021.

A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late Sam S. Deyton of Yancey County, NC and the late Flonnie Collins Deyton of Graham County, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Garland Deyton, and all of his siblings, Ralph, Claude, and Tommy Deyton, and Betty Hill, Betsy Bonebrake, Rena Jurney, and Fannie Hartness.

Joe Bill was a veteran having served his country proudly in the US Navy.

He is survived by his companion, Lucy McClung of Robbinsville, NC, and his daughter, Theresa “Bubbles” Deyton of Robbinsville, NC, and his granddaughter, Amber Beasley of Laurens, SC.

Plans for a memorial service are incomplete at this time.
