Joelene Bridges Weeks, of the Robbinsville community, went to her Heavenly Home on January 3, 2024. She was 40 years old, but if you were to ask her, she was 29 with several years of experience.
She was preceded in death by her beloved Granny Christine Farley, her maternal grandparents Blanche Winnie and Leon Steele, and multiple aunts and uncles on her mother’s side.
She is survived by her children Talon Weeks and Holland Bridges, her parents Joey and Judy Bridges, her sister Jennifer Bridges, and her “special brother” Jacob Bridgers (with fiancé Alyssa Stone) all of Robbinsville. She is also survived by her brothers J.C. Bridgers (with wife Raquel Tyler) of Texas, Robert Strickland of North Carolina, multiple nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and many cousins who were like siblings.
Joelene was known for being a fierce mama to her children, along with her immense love of books, 80’s rock music, professional wrestling and gardening.
Private services were held at Townson-Smith Funeral Home on January 11th, 2024.
