John W. Miller

John W. Miller, age 88 of the Old Sweetwater Road Community of Robbinsville, passed away, Saturday, February 19, 2022, at his residence.

          He was the son of the late Marshall H. and Helen Nokes Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Rogers Miller in 2014.

          John was a native of the Georgetown District of Washington DC but fell in love with Robbinsville, NC after moving here in 1998.

          He is survived by his children, John Marshall Miller (Rose), Roger Warren Miller (Donna), Pamela Ann Major (Bill) all of Prince William Co., VA, Brian Keith Miller (Lotte) of Robbinsville, NC; brother, George Miller, of CA, sisters, Faith Matthews of CA, Ann Edwards of MD; sisters and brothers in law, Anne and Jim Hager of Robbinsville, NC and Evelyn and David Mills of Cartersville, GA.  He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren including Dylan Anderson.

          Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the Robbinsville United Methodist Church. Reverends Eric Reece and G.D. Phillips will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 pm Saturday at the Methodist Church prior to the service.
