Obituary
Judith G. Ward, 82 of the West Buffalo Community in Robbinsville, NC went to her heavenly home on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.
She was a native of New Orleans, LA but has resided in Robbinsville for the last 41 years. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Marie Laborde Grotefend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Felix, and her son Steven.
She is survived by her daughters, Tari (Tom), Karen (Bob); sons, Michael (Kammy), Buddy (Kathy); four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three sisters, one brother and hundreds of spiritual children.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Cedar Cliff Baptist Church of which she was a member and played the Organ (for the Church Band). The Reverend Daniel Stewart will officiate. Burial will follow at the service at the Carver Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm at the church prior to the service.
