Larry Hugh Webster

Larry Hugh Webster went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 22, 2024.

He was a resident of Graham County, residing in Tallulah his whole life. He was born February 15, 1943, to the late Bert Vernon Webster and Catherine Rogers Webster.

Larry loved being outdoors and spent his spare time hunting and fishing with his son, nephews, and nieces. He accepted the Lord when he was 13 years old at Sweetgum Baptist Church where he remained a member his entire life, spending the last 31 years as a deacon. He was a loving husband, father, and papa and a wonderful friend to all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Allen Webster, and his grandson Brody Ty Phillips, and his daughter-in-law Karen Phillips Webster.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sara Conley Webster, his daughter, Latresa Webster Phillips (Eddie), his son Larry Todd Webster, all of Robbinsville, grandchildren Cassidy Phillips Adams (Cade), Clancy Eden Phillips, and great-grandchildren, Cam, Conley and Baker, all of Knoxville, Tennessee, two brothers, Dickey Webster (Gina) of Robbinsville, and Tom Webster (Andrea) of Lexington, Georgia, and two sisters, Cathy Webster Rogers (Mitch) of Robbinsville, and Sue Webster Coleman of Benton, Tennessee, and his nieces and nephews that were all very special to him.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, July 26, 2024, at Sweetgum Baptist Church. The Reverends Patrick O’Dell, Daniel Stewart and David Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2:00pm prior to the service. Committal services will follow in the Wiggins Cemetery.
