Laura (Anderson) Tipton

Laura Anderson Tipton, 84 of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Monday, October 23, 2023, at Mountain View Manor Nursing Center in Bryson City, NC.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Ed and Bettie Farley Anderson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Tipton, grandson, Sidney Jo Polston, and her brothers, Crate Anderson, Ronald Anderson.

          She is survived by her son, Ronnie Crisp and his wife, Pat of Canton, NC; daughters, Brenda Shope of Robbinsville, NC, Glenda Crisp of Bryson City, NC, and brother, Varnel Anderson of Robbinsville, NC.  She has 2 Grandchildren, Travis Crisp, Brian Crisp, and 3 great grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, and Daxton.

          Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The Reverends William Wayne Adams, Teddy Silvers, and Max Turpin will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at Lower Yellow Creek Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 2:00 pm Thursday at the Chapel prior to the service.
