Lloyd Alan Jenkins, 76 of the Lower Sawyers Creek Community, passed away peacefully at home, June 1, 2026. He is safely in the arms of Jesus now.
Lloyd was the son of the late Clifford Jenkins and Geraldine Riddle Rivers.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Williams Jenkins. They were married 19 years. Also, Susie Noland, mother of his daughters, Leasa Scruggs (Dewayne) of Bethel, NC, Rebecca Burch (David) of Canton, NC, Alana Jenkins of Lake Junaluska, NC, Nena McConnell of Lexington, SC, and, stepdaughter, Pamela Crisp of Robbinsville, NC; sister, Carol Cook (Michael) of Palm Bay, FL; and brother, Scott Rivers of Palm Bay, FL. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Travis Singleton (Keisha), Blake Radder, Brentley Radder, Daniel Burch, Hanna Lighthill, Olivia Kirpatrick, Oliver Kirpatrick, Belle Chaney (Blu); and great grandchildren, Finn Singleton and Blakely Weaver.
Funeral Service will be held at the Townson-Smith Chapel, Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Reverends Randy Collins and David Burch will officiate. Burial will follow the funeral services at the Holder Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm till 1:00 pm at the chapel prior to the service.
Pallbearers, Travis Singleton, Blake and Brentley Radder, David Burch, Michael Holder, and David Holder. Honorary pallbearers will be Oliver Kirpatrick, Dwayne Scruggs, Finn Singleton and Daniel Burch.
