With great sorrow, the Jordan family announces the passing of our kind, nurturing, generous, and loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Louise Jordan, 89, of the Jutts Creek Community departed her life here for eternity in Heaven on Monday, May 15, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Louise was born April 24th, 1934. She was the wife of the late Mack Jordan and is survived by her four children, Darrell (Janice), Terry (Vickie), Debbie (Terry), and Susan (Stan). She has now been reunited with her two infant children, Joanne and Michael, in Heaven as well as her precious Aunt Lois, her Grandpa Charlie, who provided her with a home and raised her, as well as her brother David whom she loved very much. Louise was born to Ruth Grindstaff West and was a thoughtful sister to Mildred Hooper Gregory.
Louise was a selfless wife, mother, and grandmother. She has seven grandchildren, Montrece (Clinton), Cain, Cindy (Rusty), Candy (Mitch), Latesha (Michael), Josh (Karen), Chase (Keilah); fourteen great grandchildren; Hattie, Tristan, Terran, Dalson, Cole, Emma, Isaac, Audrey, Kristyn, Kaleb, Taylor, Makenna, Rhett, and Reed. She has two great-great grandchildren, Caroline, and Corbin.
Her services will be held on Thursday, May 18th, 2023, with a short visitation and fellowship from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Townson Smith Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 at the Red Marble Cemetery in Topton, NC, for her family and close friends. Her grandsons Chase Stewart and Josh Stewart will officiate the committal service.
We are saddened by our loss, but our souls rejoice knowing that she is once again well and happy and reunited with her loved ones who have gone on before. She is rejoicing with her Lord and Savior at long last and we have a wonderful promise based on her testimony and the life she lived, that we will see her again.
