Margie Anderson

Margie Anderson, 94 of Robbinsville, NC, passed away Sunday, February 9 , 2025, at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville, NC.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Gunter Beasley.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Coyt Anderson; sons and daughter-in-law David “Rat” Anderson and Cecil Anderson (Nora); daughters and sons-in-law Deborah Gilreath, Wanda Silvers (Billy) and Brenda Gail McCollum (Dave); brothers Hudson, Raymond, Jimmy and Gilford Beasley; sisters Ollie Beasley, Betty Lou Beasley, Thelma Marrow and Iva Lee Turpin and her granddaughter Crystal McCracken.

          She is survived by her sisters Katherine Crane (Ronald) and Eva Nell Turpin (Beacher) of Fontana Dam, NC; grandchildren Sharon Farley (Eric), Ronnie Anderson (Hope), Joe Anderson (Beverly), Lisa Banks (Gary), Angie Bowman (Rick), Jamie Silvers (Jennifer), Brandon Anderson (Courtney), Julie Keathley (Richard), Michelle Hughes, Jennifer Cody, Tyler Gilreath (Jasmine) and Chelsea Gilreath; son-in-law Jimmy Gilreath; 21 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and 1 great-great-great grandson.           

          Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the Welch Cove Primitive Baptist Church.  The Reverend Onley Williams will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 11-12 prior to the service.   Burial will follow in the Welch Cove Cemetery.
