Margie Lane Obituary

Margie Lane, 82, of Robbinsville went home to be with the Lord Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was the daughter of the late Perry Sweet and Shirley Mecimore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Lane in 2019; along with 20 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy Clayton and husband Bill of Hickory, NC; son Thomas Herman of Sylva, NC; her grandchildren Eric Wilson and wife Allyson of Fort Johnson, LA, Thomas Wilson and fiancée Jessica of Harmony, NC; great grandchildren Athena Bryant, Lindsey Wilson, Arya Wilson, Lincoln Wilson and Cecilia Wilson.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Westmont Recreation Center in Hickory, NC. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4.
