Mary Edna (Queen) Sipe

Mary Edna Queen Sipe, 90 of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late John and Lillie Farr Queen.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Sipe; daughters, Sharon Haas, Kathy Ihrie; brothers, Posey Queen, Vincent Queen, Joe Queen, Tommy Queen; and sisters, Mae Holloway and Maudie Pendergrass.

          She is survived by her son and his wife, Tim and Linda Beard of Claremont, NC; sister, Frances Phillips of Robbinsville, NC; brother, Daniel Queen of Robbinsville, NC; and 6 grandchildren.

          Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  The Reverend Patrick Odell and Jason Holloway will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm at the Townson-Smith Chapel prior to the graveside.
