Nell (Williams) Jenkins

Nell Williams Jenkins, 88 of Gastonia, NC passed away, Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at CaroMont Regional Hospital in Gastonia, NC.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Willie Bryson Williams and Betty Roberts Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ray, Weaver, Bob, Oliver, and Clay; sisters, Ruth McCall, Addie Isenhour, and Frankie Carringer.

          She is survived by her children and their spouses, Charles and Mary Jenkins of Gastonia, NC, Rita and Ray Jackson of Cherryville, NC, Anita and Randy Brooks of Bessemer City, NC, Freida and Mike Muscatell of Lake Wylie, SC; and twin brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Doris Williams of Springwood, NC, and Lois Quilliams of Lowell, NC.  She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Darrell Endicott, Levi Brooks, Michael Muscatell, Lauren Muscatell DeMaine, Bobby Jackson Jr., and 4 great grandchildren., Riece, Jagger, and Van Endicott and Bobby Jackson III. 

          Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, February 9, 2024, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverend Aaron Griffin will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Old Mother Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service.
