Neowne Denise (Hooper) Adams

Neowne Hooper Adams, 101, of the Snowbird Community in Robbinsville, NC went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at her residence after a short illness. 

She was the daughter of the late Jack and Belle Lovin Hooper.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Adams, her son, Denman Adams, her son in law, Ed Edison, her daughter in law, Ann Adams, her sister, Onida “Needer” Smith, and her brothers, Neo Hooper and Reo Hooper. 

Neowne remained active in her church and the lives of her family until just a few days before her heavenly journey. 

She is survived by her sons and daughter in law, Hollis Adams and Karry Don and Carol Adams, her daughter, Maggie Belle Edison, and her daughter in law, Katherine Adams.  She has 15 grandchildren and a total of 56 great and great great grandchildren.   

The family will hold a Celebration of Neowne’s life at 2:00 pm Friday, February 12, 2021 at Cedar Cliff Baptist Church where she was faithful a member.  Reverends Daniel Stewart and Mickey Stewart will officiate.  Townson-Smith Funeral Home will help conduct a graveside service at Carver Cemetery, (tentatively) at 3:00 pm on Friday, following the Celebration of Life.  

Due to the risk of exposure to COVID 19, face coverings and social distancing are required for all in attendance at both the Celebration of Life and the Graveside Service.
