Nettie Jo Bridges, age 70 of Robbinsville, NC passed away to be with her Savior on Monday, January 5, 2026. Born September 18, 1955, Nettie Jo was a life long resident of Graham County and proudly called it her home.
She was he daughter of the late, Ross and Esther Aldridge Holder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mark Holder, Norris Holder, Mack Holder; and sister, Venice Burchfield.
Nettie Jo was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, mamaw, and cherished friend. Family was the center of her world, and her life reflected a deep love for those closest to her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Richard Bridges; her son, Ritchie Bridges (Erin Gulick and her boys, Preston and Mason); her daughter, Brandy (Bridges) Cook and Brandy's husband, Adam Cook.
She leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her cherished grandchildren, Alex Bridges (Lanie Stewart), Riley Cook and his wife, Gracie Webster Cook, Madden Bridges, and Reagan Cook. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she loved them with a depth that knew no bounds.
She is also survived by her sisters and brothers in law, Kathleen and Tony Carringer and Diane and Merle Guddendorff.
Though her earthly journey has ended, Nettie Jo Bridges lives on with Jesus, in the hearts of her family, and the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. Reverend Darrin Self will officiate. Burial will follow the service at the Old Mother Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service.
