Nita Felton

Nita Felton, 67 of Bryson City, NC passed away, Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at VERO Health Center in Sylva, NC.

          She was the daughter of the late Johnny B. Mills and Linda Dickens Portiss.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Felton Sr.

          She is survived by her children, Howard Felton and Julia Brooks both of Robbinsville, NC and grandchildren, Caitlin Brooks, Simon Brooks, Warren Brooks, Shaylei Brooks and Phoenix Brooks.  She is also survived by her brother, Kelly Portiss, and sister, Sandra Ferguson.

           A Memorial Service will be held at the Townson-Smith Chapel at a later date.
