Opal Marie (Colvard) Stewart

Opal Marie Stewart, 91, passed away Thursday April 18, 2024, at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Robbinsville, NC.

She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha Mack Colvard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lester Stewart in 2022.

Opal is survived by her son Dennis Stewart (Sandy) of Robbinsville, NC; sister Emily May (Nathan) of Lincolnton, NC; grandchildren, Dakota, Abbymae and Haley Stewart, step grandchildren Cody Atnip and Veronica Archila, all of Robbinsville, NC.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, April 22, 2024, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverends Daniel Stewart and Patrick O'Dell will officiate. Burial will follow the service at the Carver Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 till 7:00pm Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the Townson-Smith Chapel.
