Otis Howard Kirkman passed away, on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at his residence. He was originally from Florida but has resided in Robbinsville for several years.
Otis was born September 5, 1945, in Winter Haven, Florida to the late Clyde and Azalee Kirkman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Carl E. Kirkman, Raymond C. Kirkman, Winston Kirkman, Herman A. Kirkman, Marie Valentine, Drew Kirkman, Ozelle Kirkman, and Franklin W. Kirkman.
Otis went to Miami Central High School and studied business administration in college. He got his broker salesman and property appraiser license but pursued mechanics and trades to help his family and children the most. He loved his children dearly and made every sacrifice it took to keep them safe and healthy. He loved the Lord and grew up in a loving home with parents that believed in him as well.
Left to cherish his memory are his children; Sharea Kirkman, Rana Harris, Chris Kirkman, Travis Kirkman, Eric Kirkman and Kyle Kirkman; 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; and close family friends Patty Frady, Barbara Mills, Judy Mills, Renny Lucanese, Amber and Bill Watkins.
Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. Amber Watkins will be speaking on behalf of the family. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service.
