Patricia Maude (Porter) Jones

 Patricia Maude Jones, 82 of Robbinsville, NC went home to be with the Lord, Monday May 6th, 2024, at Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital in Murphy, NC.

      She was the daughter of the late James William “Bill” and Ola Eloise Lail Porter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Harvey Jones, son-in-law, Rickey Pennington, brother, Mark Porter, and sisters Linda Siler and Ann Walker.

     She is survived by her son, Al Jones (Gidget) of Robbinsville, NC, daughter, Marcy Pennington of Pendergrass, GA, sister, Billie White of Marble, NC, Grandchildren, Dren Jones (Katie), Fallon Menard (Thomas) all of Robbinsville, NC, Ricky Pennington (Harlie), Megan Knapp (Coty), and Ben Pennington, all of Pendergrass, GA, 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.  The family would also like to say a special thank you to Graham Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center and Snowbird Senior Citizens Center. 

     Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, at Bear Creek Baptist Church. Reverend Wayne McGuire with officiate. Burial will follow the service at Bear Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 pm Wednesday, at the Church prior to the service.
