Peggy Ann (Stratton) Kirby

        Ms. Peggy Ann Kirby, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Northside Hospital Cherokee following a prolonged illness. Peggy was 74 years old.  She was born January 24, 1948, in Robbinsville, North Carolina to the late William Oliver Stratton Jr. and Hazel Lee Stratton (Anderson).

        She was a devoted mother, aunt, and sister to her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, Georgia where she worked in the prayer room and sewing group for a number of years. She loved God and always lived to help others know Christ.

        Peggy was preceded in death by her father, W.O., Mother, Hazel and brother, Steve.

        Survivors include her son, Paul David Casey of Woodstock, Nephew Shawn Stratton of Woodstock, and Nephew Chris Stratton who is stationed in South Korea.

        Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, May 8, 2022, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. Committal Services will follow in the Lower Yellow Creek Cemetery.
