Phil Ray Orr, 68 of Robbinsville, NC went home to be with his heavenly father on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center after an extended illness.
He was a native of Graham County and the son of Betty Jo Buchanan Orr and the late Ed Orr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his partner, Joyce Welch Burchfield of Robbinsville, NC; his children, Dusty Orr of Robbinsville, NC, Dudley Orr (Donna) of Knoxville, TN; sister, Carlene Crisp (Eddie) of Robbinsville, NC; brothers, Michael Orr (Tammy) of Sanford, NC, Rev. Roger Orr (Lisa), and Farron Orr (April) both of Robbinsville, NC; grandchildren, Skyler Orr Kramer (Adam), Rylee Orr, and Jackson Orr all of Knoxville, TN. Phil Ray had many family and friends that he cherished.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Mountain Creek Baptist Church. The Reverends Tom Buchanan, Eddie Hollifield, and his brother, Rev. Roger Orr will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 pm Saturday at the Church prior to the service.
