Rebecca Lauderdale

Rebecca Lauderdale, 73 of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at her residence.

       She is the daughter of the late Charles and Geraldine Lauderdale. Rebecca moved to Graham County 20 years ago to Jutts Creek and became a part of the community. She worked at Stanley Furniture until they closed.

       She is survived by her son James Gorham of Robbinsville, daughters Ada Gorham (Jack Matthews) of Robbinsville, Jennifer (Hal) Perkins of Opelika, AL. Her brothers Chuck (Judy) Lauderdale of Opelika, AL, and Johnnie E. (Linda) Lauderdale of Opelika, AL.

       Rebecca was blessed with many grandchildren, Josh Perkins, Kierstin (Jabberwocky) Stull, Kaity (Daniel) Reach, Shelby Gorham, and Jaxson Matthews who is stationed at Camp Lejeune serving his country. She also has five great grandchildren, Abel Stull, Mitzi Reach, Ezra Reach, Zeplin Reach, and Ozelea Reach. She has a host of other family and friends.

      Plans for a celebration of life service will be announced later by the family.
