Richard Martin Jr. Obituary

Richard A. Martin Jr., 58 of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital in Murphy, NC.

He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Richard Martin Sr. and Evelyn Swanson and the grandson of Reverend Cliff and Maggie George.

Richard was a Veteran of the United States Navy.

He is survived by his daughter, Emmi Gutierrez of Raleigh, NC and his sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Mark Laney of Murphy, NC; 1 Nephew and 2 nieces and 7 great nephews and nieces.

Plans for a Memorial Service will be announced later. Townson-Smith Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Martin family. An online register is available at www.townson-smithfuneralhome.com.
