Robert "Bobby" Edward Dance

Robert “Bobby” Edward Dance, of Robbinsville, NC went home to be with the Lord, Friday, May 9, 2025, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

He was born October 9, 1954, in Middlesboro, KY to the late Edward and Katherine Eller Dance.

Bobby and his mother moved to Robbinsville in 1993; He loved sports and especially Black Knight Football and anything Kentucky Wildcats related.  He loved wildlife and the outdoors, and he was very talented in taking photos.  Bobby and his cousin Weston went on many adventures together like fishing, camping, and sightseeing.

          He was also a collector and loved to collect many things from cedar boxes to seashells; He also loved the Lord very much and attended church regularly with his mother until her failing health.  Bobby will be deeply missed.

          Bobby is survived by his caregivers, Annette and Marvin Edwards and a host of cousins.

          A Celebration Life Service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  Burial will follow the service at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
