Robert Scott Hyde

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely death of our son, Robert Scott Hyde, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on May 6, 2023.  He was just 62.  Words cannot adequately express the depth of our grief and sorrow.

He found immense joy and freedom whenever he was riding on the mountain roads surrounded by the beauty of nature.  He was a devoted son, loyal friend, and caring soul, who generously opened his home to family and friends in need.  All though his time was cut short, the memories we shared with Scott will be forever cherished and we have comfort in the belief that he has found eternal peace.

He is survived by his parents, Jim and June Hyde, sister Robin (Gil) Guay, son, Tyler Hyde, stepchildren, Alton Stanley, Jr. and Tessy Stanley; two nephews; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all who have offered their condolences, support, and prayers during this difficult time.  Your kind words and gestures have provided us with strength and solace through the immense pain of our loss.

A private family burial will be held, with a Celebration of Life planned at a later date.
