Ronald Wayne “Ronnie” Lee, 77 of Murphy, NC, went home to be with the Lord, peacefully at home on December 1, 2025.
Ronnie was born on October 2, 1948, in the Tuskeegee Community of Graham County, NC, to the late Frank Wilford Lee and Hazel Cable Lee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanette Sholts and brother-in-law, Hubert Cable.
Ronnie is survived by his loving fiancé, Carol Morris Sirockman (their dog, Brodie); sister, Joette Cable of Robbinsville, NC; brothers Richard Lee (Melinda) of Murphy, NC and Randall Lee (Brenda) of Robbinsville, NC.
Ronnie grew up surrounded by family and the natural beauty of his hometown. He carried with him a strong sense of faith, responsibility and love for others that defined his life’s journey. Following his early years in Tuskeegee, he proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
A beloved partner, brother, uncle, and friend to many, Ronnie will be remembered for his generous heart, willingness to help anyone in need, and his steadfast —sometime stubborn—spirit that made him truly unique.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 pm at the chapel prior to the service. Burial will follow at Breedlove Cemetery.
Townson-Smith Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Lee Family.
