Rosalee Shuler

Rosalee Shuler, 80 of the Lower Mountain Creek Community of Robbinsville, NC passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Reo and Hazel Wilson Hooper.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Eugene Moody, her husband, Claude Shuler, and her granddaughter, Matison Lee Moody.

          She is survived by her sons and daughters-n-law, Randy and Felicia Moody, Marty and Tammy Moody all of Robbinsville, NC; step son, Mark Shuler of Chattanooga, TN; Grandchildren, Miranda and Coy Buchanan, Mariah and Hamilton Boxberger, Dillon Moody; great granddaughter, Naomi Buchanan; special niece, Montana Buchanan; sisters, Sandra Sawyer of Robbinsville, NC, Lidy Orr of Candler, NC; brothers, Clark Hooper of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Clayton Hooper of Robbinsville, NC.

          Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the Robbinsville First Baptist Church.  The Reverends Tom Buchanan, Roger Orr, and Rance Shuler will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 pm Sunday at the Church prior to the service.
