Roy Thomas Williams

Roy Thomas Williams, 79, of Robbinsville went home to be with the Lord, Friday December 17, 2021, at Graham Healthcare. Roy was the son of the late Weaver and Elda Grindstaff Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Wendy M. Williams; brothers Doyle Grindstaff, Ted Williams, and David Williams; and sister Mary Phillips. He is survived by son, Troy Williams; companion Vickey Branch; brothers Marshall Williams and Billy Jack Williams; and sisters Carol Williams and Allene Butler; grandchildren Tanner McAbee (Milia) of Lincolnton NC and Brittany McAbee of Robbinsville, NC; great grandchildren Victoria McAbee, Zoey Grant, Hunter McAbee and Lilly Mcabee. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 21, 2021, in the Townson-Smith Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1till 2:00 pm prior to the service. The reverend James Millsaps will officiate. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery. Townson-Smith Funeral Home is honored to serve the Williams family.
