It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Sean Louis Rogers. The Lord welcomed him home with open arms on March 21, 2025, at the age of 12.
From a young age, he showed a deep love for the outdoors, spending countless hours playing with his brothers and sister, digging in the dirt, exploring the woods, searching for deer, and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. Whether he was fishing, building elaborate Lego creations, or crafting new worlds in Minecraft, Sean’s creativity and imagination knew no bounds.
A gentle soul, Sean was known for his quiet and thoughtful nature, always offering a listening ear, a kind word, or smile to those around him. His big heart and warm smile brightened the lives of his family and friends, and he had a deep love for his brothers and sister.
He leaves behind his loving parents, William and Jeannette Rogers; his siblings, Wade, Gage, Ryan, Ava, and Gunnar; grandparents Ted Gibby and Charles “Porky” and Jennifer Rogers, as well as cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Sean’s passing leaves a hole in our hearts, but we find comfort in knowing that he was welcomed into heaven by his two grandma’s, Waynelle Rogers and Billie Rae Gibby. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him, but we take comfort in knowing that Sean is in the presence of our Heavenly Father, where he is surrounded by love and joy.
A Service to Celebrate Sean’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Townson-Smith Chapel, where we will honor his memory, his love for life, and the impact he had on all of us. Pastor David Anderson and Eric Chapman will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Carver Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 2:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service. Townson-Smith Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Rogers Family.
Sean’s family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to all who have offered love and support during this difficult time. Your prayers and kindness are a source of strength as we grieve the loss of our precious boy.
