Sharon Elizabeth (Hensley) Harris

     Sharon E. Harris, age 81, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at the Skyland Care Center in Sylva, NC.

     Sharon was a kind and loving person, she loved talking to people. She loved her family very much! She loved all sorts of animals, especially her Chihuahua, “Bitty.” She enjoyed the springtime and planting flowers; her favorite were petunias. Her favorite color was pink. She loved getting dressed up! And she liked having her nails painted. She liked to travel, her most memorable trips were getting to go on a cruise and having a reunion with her sisters in Pigeon Forge.

     Sharon was the daughter of the late Burgess Gather Hensley and Winnie Elizabeth Sharp Hensley. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Angus Stephen Harris, Jr.

     Sharon is survived by her daughter, Jannah Harris Swan, Canton, GA. Five Grandchildren: Crystal Durley, Shelby Swan, Talking Rock, GA. Cody Swan, Cole Swan and Casey Swan, Canton, GA. Three Great-grandchildren: River and Rain, (Crystal), and Luke, (Shelby). Sharon also leaves behind her three sisters: Anna Mae Hensley Wright, Louisville, TN, Dorothy Hensley Wiggins, Greenbrier, AS, and Ethel Hensley Sheffey, Robbinsville, NC. A few cousins, several nieces and nephews, and many friends!

     Sharon was a member of the Andrews Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. No services are planned.
