Shirley Cook

Shirley Ann Cook, 83 of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Carl and Vivian Hooper Cook.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her children, Randy Carpenter, Terry Carpenter, Michael Carpenter, Donna Carpenter, Brenda Cornwell; sisters, Lois Odom, and Lauina Cook.

          She is survived by 8 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

          Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, March 20, 2023, at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  Her Grandson, Rev. Andy Williams will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at the Old Mother Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service.
