Shirley Goguen Obituary

Shirley Irons Goguen, 82 of Robbinsville, passed away, Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Murphy Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Murphy, NC.

She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Clinton and Lillie Farley Irons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Marrail Irons, and sisters, Agnes Irons and Lois Brooms.

She is survived by her son and his wife, Dale and April Goguen of Robbinsville, NC; brothers, Rick Irons of Robbinsville, NC, Dale Irons of Easley, SC, Clyde Irons of Georgia; sisters, Maggie Kaplan of Richmond, VA, Janice Schnidtlien of Maryland; 2 grandchildren, Halle Goguen, Thad Goguen and 2 great grandchildren, Rylee, and Stetson.

Private Graveside Services will be held later at the Old Mother Cemetery.
