Shirley (Waldroup) Orr
Obituary
Shirley Orr, 75, of the IU Gap Community of Robbinsville, passed away, Friday, September 2, 2022, at Graham Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Harley Waldroup and Maybelle Blevins Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carlos “Wooly” Orr in December of 2021, her grandson, Paden Stovall, sister, Reba Carver, and brother, Tony Jordan.
She is survived by her son, Tommy Orr; daughters, Tammy Hyde and her husband, Mike, Teresa Orr and Lynn Stovall, Tanya Cody and her husband, Junior all of Robbinsville, NC, and daughter-in-law Christie Sellers. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lacy Hamilton, Lindsey Cody, Bronson Stovall, Jasmine Hyde, Leah Crowe, Kambree Sellers, Kenna Orr, Karlan Orr, Kessler Orr and Liam Cody, her great grandchildren Wade, Wesyn, Wyler and Wilix Hamilton, Raylee Hill, Jackson Thompson, Genny Davis and Wrenleigh Singley.
Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 pm Monday, September 5, 2022, at Carver Cemetery. The Reverend Daniel Stewart will officiate. Townson-Smith Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Orr family. An online register is available at www.townson-smithfuneralhome.com.
