Tana Lee Queen

Tana Lee Queen, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 15, 2023, at her residence.  She was 31 years old.  Her family is deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden death.  Tana was born on December 16, 1991.

          Tana was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tana Ammons, Perry Isham Sallette, Vincent Queen, Mattie Sue Prescott; Uncles, Perry Sallette II, Kevin Sallette; Aunts, Jessie Mae Prescott and Jottie Queen.

          Tana Lee was raised in Graham County and graduated from Robbinsville High School.  She had the biggest heart, one of a kind brilliant mind and the biggest personality.  Her smile was so stunning it would light up the entire room.  She cared so deeply for the people around her; in fact, she never met a stranger.  She was fearless, independent, witty, kind and incredibly compassionate.  She made an impact on many lives.  Tana loved reading books, cooking, spending quality time with her daughter, family, and her animals.

          She is survived by her loving parents Jackie and Rene Queen; daughter, Prixa Anderson; sisters and brother-in-law, Bree Queen, Katie Grindstaff and Zackery Grindstaff; brothers, Christian Queen, Jackie Alan Queen; nieces, Sophia Grindstaff, Carissa Queen, Vivian Queen; nephew, David Alan Queen; cousins, Jason Sallette, Shawn Prescott, Cassie Prescott, Chance Rollins, and Adrian Hall.

          Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure.  You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

          A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 pm Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Midway Baptist Church.  The Reverend James Postell will officiate.
