Terry Vaughn Jenkins

Terry Vaughn Jenkins, 64 of Cherryville, NC passed away, Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC.

          He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Troy and Roselle Anderson Jenkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

          He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Gill Jenkins of Cherryville, NC; son, Richard Gill (Lori Herron) of Shelby, NC, daughter, Bridget Jones (Justin) of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Landon and Leylhan Hoagland, Joshua Cudd, Ryan Gill, Lexie and Hailey Correl; brothers, Johnny Jenkins, Gale Jenkins, Donnie Jenkins, Douglas Jenkins; sisters, Susan Lingerfelt, Nellie Davis, and Carol Anderson.

          Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, May 24, 2024, at Powell Branch Baptist Church in Cable Cove.  Reverend Coy Adams will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at the Cable Cove Cemetery.

          The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at the Church prior to the service.
