Thomas Carpenter

Thomas Carpenter, 90 passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family.

          He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Herbert F. and Mamie Green Carpenter.

          He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Carpenter, son, Thomas A. Carpenter Jr. of Prince Frederick, MD, daughter, Kathy Hefner of Waynesville, NC, 6 grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren with one on the way.

          Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Sweetwater Baptist Church.  The Reverend G.D. Phillips will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at the Old Mother Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 3:15 till 4:00 pm Saturday at the Church prior to the service.
