Tracy Williams

Tracy Williams, 59, of Robbinsville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 1, 2025, surrounded by love and compassion at the Elizabeth House.

Born on March 2, 1966, Tracy lived a rich and passionate life, pouring his heart into everything he did. A gifted chef and proud owner of T. Dubb’s, Tracy found deep joy in creating meals that brought people together.

His restaurant wasn’t just a place to eat—it was a reflection of his soul, a gathering place where stories were shared, friendships were formed, and the flavors of his life came alive. When he wasn't in the kitchen, Tracy was chasing the trails on his mountain bike, building with his hands as a talented carpenter, or giving his time to help friends and neighbors. He had a rare ability to make everyone feel like family, and his love for the Robbinsville community ran deep.

He was more than a chef—he was a cornerstone, a constant, a friend to many. Tracy will be deeply missed by his parents, Vernon and Mary Ann Williams of Bremen, Georgia; his siblings, Mark Williams and spouse J’Lene, James Williams, and Rebecca Marlow; and his cherished nieces, Jacee and Jordyn Williams, Crystal Boatwright, and Katie Gallman.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, where Tracy received not only excellent care but also sincere kindness and affection in his final days.

In honor of Tracy’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Instead, please take a moment to share your memories of him with one another—laugh, tell stories, raise a glass, and celebrate the way he lived. That would have put a smile on his face.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC, in Tracy’s memory. We were all so touched and blessed to have had Tracy in our lives. His presence, passion, and

generous spirit will never be forgotten.
