William Gregory Smith

         W. Gregory Smith, 63 went home to heaven to be with Jesus, his Mother Shirley and his brother Steven, November 4, 2020 at his residence.

          Greg was born in Covington, Kentucky July 3, 1957 to William “Bill” Gayle Smith and the late Shirley Long Smith. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Smith in 2016. 

          In 1968 he moved with his family to Bradenton, FL where he grew up.   He later purchased a cottage at Thunderbird in 1990.  He loved Graham County and moved there permanently in later years.

          He is survived by his father, Bill Smith of the Thunderbird Community and Bradenton, FL, two Uncles, Bud Smith, and Larry Smith both of Kentucky.

          Plans for a Memorial Service and Interment, alongside his brother at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery will be announced later.

          Memorials may be made to the Florida Baptist Children’s Home.
