Zelma (Holder) Bridges

Zelma Holder Bridges, 73 of the Stecoah Community went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late William Hobert and Ellen Elizabeth Lovin Holder.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, JD Holder, Robert Holder, Eben Holder, GL Holder, and sisters, Senith Johnson, Genevieve Fowler and Norma H. Carr Edison.

          Zelma is survived by her husband of 53 years, Leonard G. Bridges of Stecoah, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Joel Orr of Swain Co. NC; grandson, Colby D. Lynn, granddaughter, Kalane Fultz; great granddaughters, Arabella and Charlotte Jones; sister and her husband, Anita and Dave Clark of Greenville, TN, brother, CE Holder of Clyde, NC, sister-in-law, Ollie Holder of Robbinsville, NC and brother-in-law, Jack Carr of Stecoah, NC.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

          Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Jenkins Cemetery.  The Reverends Daniel Stewart and Coy Adams will officiate.

          Due to the risk of exposure to COVID 19, face coverings and social distancing are required for those attending the service.
